Symbol of Polish state power - Wawel Hill has been a witness to coronations and royal intrigues for centuries. Within the walls of the Royal Castle are chambers full of artworks and royal jewels, and in the Wawel Cathedral, you can see the sarcophagi of legendary rulers. The Sigismund Bell rings only on special occasions – its sound spreads throughout the city, bringing good energy. At the very bottom lies the Dragon's Den – according to legend, it was inhabited by a bloodthirsty dragon defeated by a clever shoemaker. To this day, an iconic dragon statue stands at the entrance – when you're at Wawel, you have to take a picture with it.
