300 km of underground corridors, incredible chapels, and fairy-tale sculptures - the Wieliczka Salt Mine is a place from another world. The greatest impression is made by the Chapel of St. Kinga, where everything - from the altar to the chandeliers - is made of salt. The legend says that St. Kinga brought salt to Poland - she threw her ring into the mine in Hungary, and it was found in Wieliczka, along with the deposit. Today, concerts, banquets, and even weddings are organized underground. The microclimate of the mine is beneficial for health, so it is not only a tourist attraction but also a natural SPA.
